Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya - an app for the National Digital Library - a Govt. of India initiative

Ministry of Education has launched an app "Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya" for school going children and adolescents as National Digital Library.

This app serves as a storehouse of knowledge and stories, specifically curated for children and adolescent containing quality books of covering different genres like fiction, non-fiction, biographic, poetry, classics, comics, novels etc. It also focuses on history culture, scientific achievements and other significant facets of India.

PM SHRI KV SASARAM Library IS NOW ON eg4.0

PM SHRI KV SASARAM Library IS NOW ON eg4.0. Earlier it was on eg3.0 which was an offline desktop application. e-granthalaya eg4.0 is an online application. Once the mobile number of a member is updated in the software by librarian, user can login by providing his member number and OTP received on his mobile. Once logged in, user can see his all issue and return information. S/he can browse information about all the books and other documents available in the library with its location of shelf and rack on which the book/document is placed. In profile section user can provide his email id address photograph, etc. Once, user provides his/her email id, s/he will get notification in his/her email on every issue and return.

2. KHADI MAHOTSAV-QUIZ CONTEST
'KHADI MAHOTSAV-QUIZ CONTEST is live up to 31st October, 2023 on MyGov
platform. The Quiz is open for all. The questions will be in Hindi and English and
will be based on Khadi & Village industries, Handloom, Handicrafts and ODOP (One
District One Product). Top 20 winners will be awarded KVIC e-coupon. Results will
be declared on LOth Nov. 2023. The details of Quiz contest are available on MyGov
platform. 

KHADI MAHOTSAV- Elocution Contest

For Class 6 to 10 (04 minutes maximum)

(i) Khadi - An Important Icon in the Freedom Movement.

(ii) My idea about Handlooms / handicrafts 

(iii) Khadi Livelihood of Rural India 

(iv) Khadi - Bapuji Ka Sapna 

(v)  Khadi: Pride of place in the economy

 

For Class 11and 12 (06 minutes maximum)

(i) Khadi - A heritage industry in rural livelihood                                                      (ii) Futuristic Khadi products                          (iii) Economic and Cultural Significance of Handloom industry                                    (iv) Wear Khadi - Be part of Rashtra Nirman (Nation Building)                           (v) Khadi and Village Industries: Suitability and Sustainability in today's context.

The elocution competition may be conducted in three languages only viz.
Hindi, English· and first official Language of the State/UT.
